Jakarta: A Sydney man has died trying to save a drowning ferry crew member off Jakarta, police say. Jakarta Police spokesman M Iqbal says Gregory Robert Jones, 41, was struck by the propeller of the ferry in the Thousand Islands on Monday. Mr Jones, of Camperdown in Sydney's inner west, had been trying to save a ferry crew member who slipped off the boat and drowned. The body of the second man, named in local media reports as Cecep Sulaiman, 20, has not been recovered, police say. More to come. AAP ...
